Drinking fresh carrot juice was a fad for me, while I was working. I used to love drinking it early in the morning on my way to work. I am not a coffee person, but love cold coffee. Drinking cold coffee in winter is again not up my alley!
So I used have this healthy drink every morning.
Now I guess I have become lazy and don't make it that often.
It surely is a healing drink with fresh carrots, fresh ginger and honey. Can anything sound even so fresh and delish!:))
This drink can even be made semi homemade by buying the freshly made carrot juice at the store (make sure nothing else is in it). Make a cup full of ginger juice on the weekend and keep it ready.
All you have to do is mix up everything, a cup of carrot juice, 1 tbsp ginger juice, 1 tsp lemon juice and 1 tsp honey. And you have your healthy drink ready in minutes.
Here, this time I use everything fresh. It was a delight to have this drink after so many days....
5 carrots, washed, peeled and cut into small pieces
2 inch piece of ginger, washed, peeled, cut into pieces.
honey as required
lemon juice as required
Grind the carrots and ginger together with some water.
Strain the pulp if neccessary.
Stir in lemon juice and as much of honey as you wish. You could also add sugar if you want, but honey is so much better.
Serve cold over ice or as is.
